Journey
If there were ever a time to dare, To make a difference To embark on something worth doing It is now. Not for any grand cause, necessarily But for something that tugs at your heart Something that is worth your aspiration Something that is your dream. You owe it to yourself To make your days count. Have fun. Dig deep. Stretch. Dream Big. Know, though, That things worth doing Seldom come easy, There will be times when you want to Turn around Pack it up and call it quits Those times tell you That you are pushing yourself And that you are not afraid to learn by trying. Persist. Because with an idea, Determination and the right tools, You can do great things. Let your instincts, your intellect And let your heart guide you. Trust. Believe in the incredible power Of the human mind Of doing something that makes a difference Of working hard Of laughing and hoping Of lasting friends Of all the things that will cross your path Next year The start of something new Brings the hope of something great. Anything is possible There is only one you And you will pass this way but once. Do it right.

Permission to be a you….

Turning everyday routines into endless possibilities. Moving from boredom to excitement. What do you dream of? Dream BIG

My days were pretty much the same everyday. I felt comfortable with my routine. My routine made me feel safe. It was as if I was a machine just doing what I was programmed to do. I had no idea that this was all orchestrated by me. I had no idea that it didn’t have to be like that. I had yet to believe that anything was possible.

Now the possibilities seem endless. How did that happen?
How did I get from everyday routines to endless possibilities? It is because of the journey. The journey of discovering who I am and what I want. I am learning that who I am is me and that there is no where I am going.

The journey is the destination of my life and I finally realize anything is possible. This is a scary and surreal experience. This is the secret of living a joyful existence.

I remember when I was a little girl and I used to make wishes. Wishing upon a star, Birthday wishes, wishing on an eyelash, or even a flowers petals’ (or maybe that was just me). I used to wish big. I used to believe that they would come true, one day.

I don’t know when the wishing stopped. I guess when it seemed “silly” to be wishing for things that seemed imaginary.

Now my wishes have turned into my dreams, but they are no longer imaginary. Now I dream. I dream big.

  • I Dream of
A beautiful home with an herb and flower garden
    A successful business
A place do do my art work in
Educating the underprivileged about health and wellness
Finding someone to share all of this with

I say these dreams out loud because the more I say them; the more I believe that they will come true. I nourish myself with love, joy, patience, and generosity so that I can become my dreams.

I live my dreams everyday. Living in the present moment and letting the journey unfold itself. My days are filled with rituals instead of routines. My days are filled with cultivating nourishment for my mind, body, & spirit. Today I will DREAM BIG! Tomorrow I will still be DREAMIMG… How about you!

We Miss God’s Blessings…….. .ღ.☆¸☆´¸¸.•´¯`♥¸ℒo√ε

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For
many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer’s
showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told
him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited
signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the
morning of his graduation his father called him into his private
study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine
son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son
a beautiful wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man
opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible. Angrily,
he raised his voice at his father and said, “With all your money you
give me a Bible?” and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy
book.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in
business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his
father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He
had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make
arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had
passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He
needed to come home immediately and take care things.
When he arrived at his father’s house, sudden sadness and
regret filled his heart.

He began to search his father’s important papers and
saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With
tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he
read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope
taped behind the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealer’s name, the same dealer who had the
sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation,
and the words…PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss God’s blessings because they are not
packaged as we expected?

Life comes with no guarantees…

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You’ll have your heart broken and you’ll break others’ hearts. You’ll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you’ll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you’ve never been hurt.

Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone’s hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts.

Don’t be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

Fabulous Friends!
